Weekend Hot Topic, part 1: girls in games

The discussion point for this weekend’s Inbox was suggested by reader Gadfly, who was inspired by the lack of female playable characters in Grand Theft Auto V. He asked whether video games are still too reliant on a teenage male audience - and all that implies about how women are portrayed and their role within the games.

Here is part one. (Final Fantasy XIII-2, Mass Effect, Metroid Other M, PC, PS3, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Wii, Xbox 360)
