Will This Generation Be Remembered Fondly?
this generation definately had its few share of AAA titles, also what was brought to the table were some pretty cool apps like netflix, and hulu.

In my opinion, this generation give me the impression that the nexgeneration of console will introduce the new social gamer maeket....

#my expectation will not be as high as it was for this generation.

This generation could have been better but instead we get a saturated market of mediocre shooters that are all virtually the same. Had developers focus on doing their own thing instead of abandoning their loyal and supporting fans by releasing CoD clone after CoD clone, this generation would've been much more fondly memorable. This is similar to the WoW craze we had last decade with a huge wave of mediocre WoW clones pretty much making the majority of all MMORPGs in existence. MMORPGs from today really have not matured since either and many still use the tired old auto-target auto-attack combat system. MMORPGs have a good concept, but not much is going for the genre because nobody is stepping up their game but instead want to copy WoW and fail miserably while at it.
