Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Can Actually Look Gorgeous - Comparison Between Modded And Vanilla

DSOGaming writes: "So you thought that Black Ops 2 looks ugly, right? Well, you are partially right as the vanilla version looks awful. But as we all know, PC gamers can use the amazing SweetFX Shader Suite tool to overhaul a game’s visuals, and you seriously won’t believe how good Black Ops 2 modded can look on the PC." (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, PC)

they can sell millions of copies of Call Of Duty but when can they change the engine? even if you are a cod hater you have to admit it does looks better.but every cod its just a little upgrades here and there.

Like Treyarch has mentioned NUMEROUS times and people tend to forget. In order for them to keep the gameplay at a crisp 60 FPS they can't put Crysis 3 graphics into the game.

Battlefield 3 graphics aren't that good if you get close up to them. The textures look horrible and it runs at 30 FPS.

What ever happened to Gameplay > Graphics

Fans of the series have no problem because the game is fun and Treyarch changes their game with each release. WAW feels completely different then BO and BO2 feels and looks way better than BO.

People that don't even play the game just hop on the bandwagon of hating popular things because their favorite game isn't the most played and breaking records.

Black ops 2 does look pretty good, on console at least. I havent played it on PC, but i would say that aside from scale it looks as good, or better than BF3 on console which is a nice accomplishment. But its not a crysis 2 ;P

A few more raindrops, increased brightness(which made the grainy filter of the game worse), and more water puddles.

Jaggies are still present, textures are the same, and the game still runs at 60FPS.

Not to be a **** about it, but if you are going to mod something, make some original content, because just about anyone can change game settings.

Looks like the sharpening filter effect on Adobe packages

Looks worse than original

I think it just makes the whole screen look a little more "harsh" too much reflection and light in some places and rain looks like a bunch of needles coming down at you.
