Black Ops 2 PS3 Patch 1.03 Intended to 'Fix Freeze Issues,' Over 2 Million Playing Online Now

MP1st - Activision gives an update on what patch 1.03 for PS3 was intended for. Also, Treyarch mentions that there are over 2 million users playing Black Ops 2 multiplayer on all systems at the moment.

Haven't had a problem since the patch, but I haven't tried zombies yet, which is where all my freezing troubles were happening.

I am happy that most of you are fine on ps3... but mine still is shutting off every hour while online.... and its not the ps3 since every other thing works perfect, except BO2...

@ Tvensky - I don't know if this will help but here is what I figured out before the patch - I kept crashing and I notice it seem to be some kind of loading issue.. -So here is what I did to stop it.. -( When you first turn on your PS3 and start the game unplug your mic.. make sure it's off and unplugged. then start the game go to the lobby - select / core - then kill confirm - then wait for the lobby to fill up or game to start, once it is filled up plug in your mic and now turn it on - you will not crash from now on and you can go play anything)

I did that yesterday and all crashing stopped for me.. Good Luck Player -:)

Yeah since the patch, everything is lovely, I have no more crashing... I'm glad they went to work on it so quickly. _ I thought the patch might come out a month later.. (which would have been Epic Fail)

-and that's why I was glad I found a way for it to stop crashing.

-But all is good even my textures seem to be nice and smooth now, when I was in zombies mode it looked like the wood was some dull color.. -but now it's nice and bright like the rest of the game so patch fixed more then just the crashing... (probably also fixed textures that were not loading right)

But all is good now... (hat's off to the team for fixing it A.S.A.P)

well its something that might work for the time being, and then maybe they have time to go through with a fine tooth comb to work the rest of bugs out and release another for ps3 problems and some of the xbox 360 problems, i give another couple weeks or sooner and these problems will be dealt with,

Im having the SAME DAMN connection problems and lag compensation issues as before this so-called patch... im done with this garbage franchise... every year they take my money and take too freakin long to fix this trash... shame on me for getting fooled yet again..

Everything is fine for me except for the LAG. i rarely get full green bars.And lag is killing it for me. Even after the patch.

My cousin said he froze in theater mode last night. But he said he is no longer freezing while in the lobby. He also said the graphics look more clear.

i haven't had any lag problems, too fix the lag click public match then search preferences then choose best i haven't had any problems with lag yet

The game froze on me yesterday while playing the campaign when you assume control of the jet. Anybody else having sound issues when characters speak it sounds like someone mutes the tv really quick during the campaign?

Looks like this patch also got rid of that blurring issue. Looks even better than pre patch 1.02. Good effort, Treyarch. This is definitely their smoothest running CoD game on PS3.

I was fine before the patch, now i got sign out of psn one outta three games. Try to delete the game data and reinstall the update but it does not have the option to do it.

I havent put much time into the game but I have gotten a couple of hours in since the launch and I rarely had any issues at all (touch wood). Not sure if it has anything to do with the fact I installed the game to my HDD in the multiplayer settings or not.
