Infinity is one of the most ambitious space games, Kickstarter coming soon, new screenshots

Back when Ps3 was announced, this is the type of **** I was looking forward too. Not "moar graphics" in a linear *** corner full of set pieces. I hope next gen explores this concept over what it has this gen. Image Mass effect if this was in it? Although I suppose there is room for 'Uncharted' type games and Space games. But i'm just sick of this direction in gaming.

This engine will hopefully play a huge part in the future of gaming. Hopefully next gen.

Agreed, this is precisely what I'd like to see as well. These kinds of games are non existent on the consoles and although there are some that exist on the PC, they lack the budget or production values that is required of something so ambitious in scale and detail.

I recall Bungie working on something in the MMO/console/scifi universe but I don't think much details have been given out.

There has been a serious drought in AAA space games for like 7 years running now. I'm really hopeful for many of these.
