Editorial: PlayStation All-Stars Might Just Sell Quite Well
It's basically the only big PS3 exclusive for the holiday season and although it may appear somewhat anemic, it could have a lot of punching power.

I agree, this title will do well. As much as I would love for it to do Halo numbers or Gears numbers in a week, not a single day. It might not happen, but it might hit those numbers or exceed in lifetime numbers.
The reception for this title has been mixed due to the comparisons with SSBs and the lack of a favorite character. But the beta did change a few minds and put other's minds to rest (Myself included). With the announcement of free DLC and support for the game long time could have helped as well.
Also, being the first real Cross-buy retail title is a plus. The marketing push from Sony with the preview before the Wreck It Ralph movie was soon in the movies.
