Fans of space combat simulators and starships have one more reason to be happy tonight, as Star Citizen just surpassed four million dollars in pledges in its crowd funding campaign.

Good lord that's a lot... On a side note, another "star" game "StarForge" needs some support like that for sure. I'm a bit sad to see that game's pledges coming in so slowly.
Every PC gamer who enjoys these games should back the game. Just an f.y.i, the development leader of this game - Chris Roberts - is ALSO using a large portion of his personal money AND has also secured funding from other investors.
So, don't think that the only money going into this game is the money from crowdfunding. There is a lot of money coming in (millions, according to Chris) from other sources.
