Wii U starts shipping to customers

Several retailers have begun shipping Wii Us to those who pre-ordered it.

It is good to see that the next generation of gaming has finally begun

My hat is tipped to all platforms within the current generation. This may have been the longest running Gen possibly ever. Lasting for the better part of 10 years without new hardware interrupting. Some enjoyed the long life cycles, some were ready for new platforms years ago. SO for those who have been sitting with their arms crossed waiting, the time has finally come.

The Nintendo Wii U entertainment system has finally arrived to suppress the next generation cries of many. Including myself. Bringing to the table true next generation advanced controls, graphical prowess, and a new realm of innovation never before seen in the world of gaming. The launch titles are scoring well, pre orders are high, and the world is ready. Have a blessed day and happy gaming.

I think the ability to utilize software updates really allowed the OEMs to stretch the legs of their consoles. Mainly Ps3 and 360. Wasn't surprised Nintendo was the first to come out with a console as the craze for the Wii took a HUGE nosedive. With the jump in hardware Nintendo made with the Wii U, I can't wait to see what Sony and Microsoft have cooking. And what's with the PR statement?
