On today’s joyous occasion of Xbox Live celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Daily Reaction crew of Dan and Seb look at the effect Microsoft’s online service has had on the games industry as a whole.
To think how much I have spent on XBL :O... Worth it for some awesome gaming moments tho.
Yeah, I agree. I really couldn't get the same experience anywhere else for cheaper.
Plus it's totally good value.
True, all the free games I get, and not to mention the ability to play ONLINE.
It's my favourite online gaming Home.
Yeah, I've enjoyed my Life with Xbox.
This cheese is killing me!
The success of XBL helped create Sony's online as well.
Wait, well, you might have something there. The xbox and PS2 both had online, but I didn't even know it was something I could trust until the end of the life of the PS2. the xbox was user-friendly from day one, and it also took into account that a lot of people never gamed online before, so it made the transition easier. I played mostly on the PC until towards the end of the PS2/xbox era. Not to mention all of the years of Halo online... :D Congrats XboX live!
I only found out that the PS2 had Online when Socom came out. Then Final Fantasy XI sealed the deal.
And cheers to it.
a year of xbox live gold:$60.... making a 12 year old cry over COD:priceless
Happy anniversary Xbox Live
HEY. Im suck a loilpop. That 300 dollars for 5 years. DAMN you microsoft. I could have spend that money on video games, food, coffee, girls. On the next gen that shit better be free, or it's PC and sony all the way. Greedy MFs.
