"As for the PowerColor Radeon HD 3870 X2, it is as standard as you can find from any vendor. With no additional features or game bundles, it is suitable for those looking for just the hardware. PowerColor also has not made any customizations, either for the cooler or the clock speeds and that means you should find it selling at the recommended retail price of around US$449.
With overclocking results less than impressive on the Radeon HD 3870 X2 so far, getting a standard version may well save the consumer a nice chunk of change. For those of you holding out till more custom cooler designs surface, it's slow days yet but we do hear vendors are busy polishing their versions. So stay tuned to our graphics channel for more juicy reviews on them as and when they make the push into retail."
