Well, let's see. It's a Call of Duty game. That's a pretty big warning sign.
It's also a first-person shooter (also a warning sign), a genre dependent on precise, accurate controls that only a mouse can provide (warning sign) that consoles have only recently been able to get around with by way of auto-aim (warning sign) on a handheld with very small analog sticks that lend themselves to precision control even less (warning sign! warning sign! warning sign!)
For most of us, just that first warning sign was enough for us to steer clear away. Is this being an awful game really a surprise to anyone at all? In this whole wide world?
Lol, at Canary getting disagrees for saying that CoD hasn't improved (It's true). I think the Xbox enthusiasts want you to blame Sony and the dev team (Don't you dare speak of Activision). On topic, I'm still picking up this game. After the reviewers told me that Assassin Creed Vita game sucked and after seeing how it didn't after playing it for myself, I'm going with the gamers who have the game on the forums and off of what I'm feeling about it.

Seriously when did gamers become nothing but sheeps who let some stranger who gets paid dictate how they spend their money and what they play?
If you like shooters, like cod, and own a vita try this game. It looks good runs great amd feels just like a cod game, and its on handheld. Sure the campaign is short but since when is cod about the single player. On console its who cares about the campaign the mp is where its at but on vita its the campaign is too short who cares about the mp. I dont get it. The console version is broken and evem the developers say they are working on it. But it gets a pass.
I bought it and from the hours I've spent playing all parts of the game it is way better than a 2 or 3 out of 10.
I give it 7 or 7.5. Would be more with more content and better price.
Come on if you are a gamer you should try games out and make your own decision. Take back our hobby from the review sites.
Also the single player has different parts it has the campain and the time trials and some kind or horde mode instead of zombies. All that together plus the mp there is much more replayability that they make it sound. The actually campaign if you finish all 10 missions and yake thr best time you get in each after trying over and over them maybe you get about an hour but that is only taking the best times!
Unfortunately, not many people actually make that distinction.
I suppose that since it was expected that CoD would be the big hit that would propel Vita forwards, the game getting negative reviews is seen as an attack on Vita, rather than an attack on a seemingly mediocre game.
