1up - The Agony and the Ecstasy of New Super Mario Bros. U Multiplayer

1up - There's something amazing about the fact that five people can sit in front of a Wii U and play together at the same time. It still boggles my mind everytime I boot up New Super Mario Bros. U and start a game of Boost Mode. Part of this wonderment stems from being so ingrained in the idea that local multiplayer games could never support more than four players at one time. I was never a big LAN guy, and I sadly never got to play 8-player Bomberman on the Saturn. For me, dividing a screen into four squares was as good as it got. (New Super Mario Bros. U, Wii U)
