Nintendo’s Wii U hits the mall this holiday season

Nintendo has announced, via press-release, that the highly anticipated Wii U console will soon be available for interested customers to try in 26 malls across America. The mall tour will give customers a chance to win some Nintendo themed prizes and allow customers a chance to try out the Wii U.

Not since the 1980′s has a ‘mall tour’ been so publicized. Nintendo has stated the Wii U and the touch-screen GamePad controller will be on display at 26 malls in North America. The demo stations will hit the malls starting on November 19, 2012. Nintendo hopes that consumers will not only experience the video game functionality of the Wii U but will also enjoy the video entertainment and social functions of the device. (Nintendo, Wii U)
