I don't think it will beat COD because it is on more consoles. I think if you compare COD on 360 and Halo I think it will beat it but not going up against 3 consoles.

True Halo 4 made a ton of money, even though that record will probably be broken by Black Ops 2 multi-console launch. Microsoft did spend 300 million in making the game, so while it will recoup all of its money, it hasn't technically made any money for Microsoft yet.

Still, it shows that Microsoft was justified in going with 343i, they have put out (in my opinion) the best Halo game of all time.
