Splitkick: The proposition of having Borderlands on the iPhone or iPad is tantalizing. With such a rich pool of material to draw from, the elements to craft a complementary experience based on the franchise are present. Borderlands Legends attempts to transform the first-person shooter into a top-down action strategy title. At first glance, it even looks like you’re watching the real deal from a different perspective. However, its glaring deficiencies quickly override any goodwill you may have from the franchise’s previous installments.
Hardcore Gamer: Today, 2K announced it will be removing some big names from its downloadable iOS apps. There has been no reason given as to this decision, perhaps many of them have been outdated or not selling as well as they wished. If you have already purchased them, they will still be accessible.
