I like the commercial; They showed real gameplay and well... the transforming controller takes the cake home.
Dear God, Sony just astonish me with how they can almost always miss the mark with their adverts. Once again, Style over content. I'll always have a Sony console, but they need to advertise properly. Just show actual full screen gameplay and then show two (NORMAL) looking individuals playing it and enjoying it. It's not difficult. All that advert says is: COD on the Vita. They could do that with a 5 second printed message. The excitement should be demonstrated through the gameplay, not through some guys leaping around.
What commercial does this Gribble? You need to get the consumer excited about the product and especially the target audience this product is aimed at. You think a couple of normal guys standing around, heads buried in the Vita followed by one or two full screen shots is going to get anyone excited to play? Is this your first day on Earth? Because every ad goes overboard when it comes to action titles. First people complain that Sony doesn't advertise then they complain that they overdo it with their advertisements. Just can't please people I guess.
You must know by now that I'm not the sort of person to just say something for the sake of it. Sony nearly always disappoint me with their advertising.
Its not full screen for a reason; the game would look terrible! And they showed solid gameplay. In most cases I'd be with you with this, but this is the one sony advert they got right. Also their Ac3 liberation adverts in the UK are brilliant!
Well they actually did good with this commercial although the Madden Vita one was still better because it was funny.
Dude if you watch the commercial again they advertised the COD bundle. So showing the Vita along side the game is just fine. It makes sense.
Looks good but I'm gonna wait till Black Friday to pick up the bundle.
looks hot !
