PlayStation Plus for PS Vita: Launch Details Confirmed (Europe)

Hello everyone. I know that you’ve all been eagerly anticipating news of the PlayStation Vita Plus service so I am very happy to say that I can finally spill the beans.
We here at Sony PlayStation are very happy to announce that as of 21st November, the Plus service will be extended to the PS Vita. I can also confirm that if you already have a Plus subscription for your PlayStation 3 there is no additional charge whatsoever for the PS Vita service, meaning that you still get all the great PS3 content as well as the additional Vita offers, all for the same one-off price of £39.99 a year.

Fantastic! Gravity rush and Uncharted Golden Abyss and two other games (the Americans get 5 but I don't care to be honest) at NO extra cost to current PS+ subscribers. Discounts, online storage and other improvements when the firmware hits next week.

It's a shame we don't get Tactics war of the lions though. It's a great game

Edit: Also, no WipEout :(

I'm in the US, and the only game I don't have is Tactics, so I get where you're coming from. Most early adopters of the Vita already have Uncharted and Gravity Rush. I bought all those games before PS+ was announced for Vita. I do not regret buying and playing them, I just regret not getting more free stuff.

for me no Wipeout aswell i live in Germany
But i believe we will get it in the coming months we poor EU people :)

Note to self:

Must buy PlayStation Vita 32GB memory card ASAP.

I'm sure the sales of the 32GB card are about to skyrocket. Can we get NPD on that?

Hmmm, wonder what Japan will get. I already have UC and Gravity rush.

The Gravity Rush DLC would be nice for free..

The launch for Plus for the Vita is better for the US than it is for EU. This might come bite SCEA is the butt, in the long run.

There are two games on the US list I don't have and one I am happy that it is finally coming to the Vita store.

Hard to say, since EU also supports the Vita a bit more (with Vita insider, free themes, preorder stuff, etc). I wouldn't say Jet Set Radio and WipEout makes US better than EU either, since the main highlight was Gravity Daze / Uncharted. This will really come down to how quickly they cycle games since EU said...

Uncharted Golden Abyss and Gravity Rush are going to be available for you for some time. The other two titles will change on a regular basis

Now how regular EU is vs US and what they include will really spell out which one is better. Not that ANY of this matters at all.

Damn, already have both of those games, i feel as though PS+ for Vita isn't really going to work out for me, as I own most of the games for it already.

I already have Gravity Rush and Mutant Blobs but i dont have Uncharted or Chronosphere so im not entirely annoyed by this. Good to see that they didn´t cheap out with this because they could have given us a bunch of minis instead.

BTW

PSPlus: Only for PS3 and Vita :)
