Not All Games Cause a Hole to Burn through Your Wallet

Gaming is great, I think we can all agree, but sadly die-hard gamers often find themselves strapped for cash when facing a purchase of a £40 release (a figure now steadily rising to £50, depressingly). This is why many of us have to pick-and-choose what we buy carefully, as one lapse in judgment could result in a classic like Hitman Absolution slipping through one’s fingers while you’re at home crying over your newly bought copy of Lollipop Chainsaw (Batman: Arkham City, Dead Space 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Fallout 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

While I think this list is excellent, I was kind of hoping for a list of cool indie/smaller games. Usually even more affordable for the college budget :)
