I've got to say: considering this is a respected gaming site, the writing is pretty poor. Chalk full of grammatical errors, awkwardly placed commas and run-on sentences make it an awkward read... Granted the author went very in-depth in his review, but it's pretty poor considering it's from G4TV. I've found that this is more and more a real tendency in gaming journalism, which is sad. It's probably in effect due to the rise in amateur blogs 'n things, and thus having to update with fresh news ASAP to stay on top of things. But even then, other tech and gaming blogs can still keep clever writing albeit with some errors. Right, w/e.

Anyway, game looks like it's another solid one. I wonder if it'll break the massive sales record from MW3. Considering Halo4 just came out, I'm actually a bit skeptical! I haven't personally bought a COD since COD4 (which I played to death), and that's only because i've really tired myself of military shooters. I'm the minority there. Though, I sure do miss CS 1.6...

Well, excited to see more reviews and the sales figures fo sho! Anyone else feel like one of the big drawing points to the franchise is its blockbuster status? Like, i'm genuinely curious and excited to see the friggin' sales figures. Haha.

how can reviewers give good scores to a game that it's the same thing every year yet they complain when other franchises do the same?

Are you mad that CoD got a good score, or are you mad other games got bad scores?

I would say it's being angry that other games get bad scores. It bothers me too when Call of duty gets a high score and the reviewer then goes to a game that has a new engine, new gameplay and completely new features and scorn it.

These are the type of reviewers that are simpleton upstarts that shouldn't be reviewing games because they have no idea how the industry works or how to review.
