New Star Citizen Gameplay Video Showcases Formations and AI Wingmen

Cloud Imperium Games released today a new gameplay video of Star Citizen, showing a wing of Hornet fighters as they fly in space executing commands and forming in different ways according to the orders issued by the player.

Not necessarily due to this video, but this game blows my socks off. You have single player that can be played online or offline then a persistent mmo-type ofgaemplay (no subscriptions. You can actually walk inside your ships, there's an FPS mode for boarding ships and the graphics are all built on Cryengine 3 but since you dont have to worry about this game coming out on consoles hes actually making it push the PC to its limits.

It's also the second highest crow-funded game to date and will probably take #1 spot - it currently has 6 days left.

So your telling me I can pilot, own and walk around in a capital ship? and at anytime jump into a fighter craft and fly out of the hangar bay?

Is this is so this is looking like a must buy. Sci Fi exploration needs moar titles.

Capital ships are mannable, but you can't buy or own them.

For release the biggest ship you'll be able to own is millenium falcon-size, with a small hangar that can carry a fighter.
