Microsoft Studios has today announced a new exclusive that has been arranged for the Xbox Video service, further building the Xbox 360’s reputation as a multimedia entertainment system. From today Xbox 360 owner can purchase The Amazing Spider-Man, two weeks prior to the launch of the retail edition n DVD and Blu-ray.
So buy it online and have it in less than a week. Who, that wants the DVD/Bluray, would buy it on XBL to save less than a week?
i can rent it on amazon thru ps3 and this Tuesday PSN should have it for rent and not just for purchase anymore
> Spiderman two weeks early
Pick one.
Why would you do that?
Wait? What are we even talking about?
Sounds like someone's on drugs, and given that its not me - I want some! Share damnit!
Imagine that!
He said very good partners. "Very good" partners don't block each others in their endeavors.
But then MS likes money from licensing out its software while Sony likes selling their electronics with popular, common features.
Its called middle ground, which there wasn't any as in the case of HD discs and the formats they would use.
FFS, I'm still wondering why some site is hooting about Xbox have "exclusive" rights to a movie I can get on Amazon demand.
You can grab this movie on PSN, Video Unlimited, and a few other media digital outlets right now. Is there some sort of outtakes or something that's exclusive to them?
The movie has been available for purchase in the PSN Store since last week.

That could've been a game or DLC. But instead, they spent money on a film. What does that mean for the Xbox as a brand? It marks a turning point in the move towards 'entertainment' as opposed to 'gaming.'
Something larger is going on behind the scenes.
The next thing you know we will hear that Gakai is coming to 360.
(It's already coming to surface.)
