Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 enlists Hollywood talent to bring its story to life

Digital Trends - This Tuesday Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be released. Although the series is famous for its multiplayer, developer Treyarch and publisher Activision have put a huge emphasis on the campaign, hiring well-known actors to fill roles, and bringing Hollywood scribe David Goyer on board to write the plot. (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Why? Normally Hollywood stars suck at voice acting. Plus its video games, not movies, two entirely different structures. This is how COD ends up linear in a writing stand point.

All that said, still interested, just wish they didn't use Hollywood.

I only play cod for the singleplayer and then trade it in. Let me just say voice acting and story in bo was amazing. I'm looking forward to bo2.

oh and mw3 was painful to play

I do the same thing, play for the SP.

Besides after COD4 their MP sucked. There is a natural 1.5 second lag for every movement you see.
