The Vita Lounge takes a little look at this little fib, and show some of the games and genres available.
I really cant wait for soul sacrifice and Tearaway. @Matty For me it was already a good year with LBP and Gravity rush plus the psp games i never played like Patapon series and some great rpg's. Also the amount of indie support im seeing for the vita is making me happy.
I completely forgot about Tearaway! Next year outta be awesome for Vita.
That and Persona 4 Golden. Can't wait!
Tearaway looks amazing. Vita's catalog is growing every month, and it offers console quality games in a handheld. A lot of people don't know what the Vita has to offer because they haven't been paying attention. I hope people pay attention this Black Friday when they have Vita/game bundles for $200 at retailers... hell of a deal IMO. LBP Gravity Rush Assassin's Creed Liberation New Little King's Story Have been my favorites so far, but I've also enjoyed every experience on the Vita so far... except Reality Fighters... Reality Fighters sucked. The AR backgrounds make it impossible to center the fighters on screen. But everything else has been great.
Soul Sacrifice, PSO 2 and God Eater 2... slurp Vita.
Excellent article. The Vita in my opinion has a good range of games and im hoping for more titles in the future. @majiebeast same, soul sacrifice looks so sick on the the i cant wait for the release.
No ones saying the Vita doesn't have games. The question is whether or not Vita has enough games that people desperately want to play. Judging from the way it's selling, it clearly doesn't at this point. Sony has to focus more on unique titles than ports and revamps of pre-existing titles.
Yeah I'm pretty sure that 98% percent of all Vita arguin/debates mentioned that "The Vita has no games" when in fact it had the most games to be sold at launch, ever...
Because of the Vita's "lack of games people desperately want to play" I wouldn't have discovered Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, and what a great game it is, as it's a game I normally would not buy.
But that is a multiplatform title... you can buy it for 3Ds too.
@ronin4life Too bad I don't have a 3ds. Anyway, my point is, the Vita has good games it's just that sometimes you need to get out of your comfort zone and try them.
^^I'll happily try out Zero Escape, but thats not enough of a reason for me to drop two Benjamins on a Vita at this point. I want experiences on Vita that I can't get a better version of on consoles(LBP, Uncharted, Killzone, AC, NFS etc). P4: The Golden looks good, but I already have the original P4 for the PS2. What the Vita currently offers just isn't enough yet.
3DS doesn't have any games and I still bought one. All it had was "revamps of pre-existing franchises" (nice double standard BS btw). But unlike the 3DS, I bought the Vita at launch because it did have games.
How is it a double standard? I don't have a 3DS either for the same reason I don't have a Vita. Nice try though, assuming that I'm pro-3DS because I criticize Vita. But of course, this is the Internet, a realm where if your not in favor of one thing..you MUST be in favor of the alternative.
Didn't say you were pro 3DS. Don't assume. I was simply giving you a personal example.
@LOGICWINS Fair enough. I'll just see you online if ever the "Persona Fan" in you pushes you to purchase a Vita. ;)
Possibly, but the only thing the Persona fan in me wants to do atm is finish Persona 4 and heavily anticipate Persona 5, on my PS3 :)
What's "not enough" for you, is more than enough for many others. Your opinion is not universal fact. End conversation.
may be because it has less games than 3ds?
Why is it that positive Vita articles get less attention? It doesn't make sense!
Because negativity fuels the world. So it's no surprise from a physiological point of view people are some what subconsciously drawn to it.
No but I heard about the bird
