Assassin’s Creed movie coming 2013

Ubisoft’s chief sales and marketing officer Geoffroy Sardin said:

“Another thing that is very important for the lifecycle is the transmedia offer. All the figurines, the books, the publishing, and we have a movie in the next coming year. So it’s not only about games, we are talking about a global brand, and this is the life cycle management we want to set up now.” (Assassin's Creed, Culture, Ubisoft)

Man I want an AC game set in modern times... It would be beyond amazing to scale skyscrapers up to the 60th floor to find your target, bust through the window, take him out and toss him out to the city streets below.

I hope they create a separate universe with the film. I just do not think a direct transfer would work with AC
