Smart When Shouting explores the new types of gameplay the Wii U can, and should, explore.
We'll probably see the same scenario that happened to the DS where only Nintendo was really pushing the ways the system's features could be used while third-party devs mostly used the 2nd screen as a map or inventory management screen. I personally find the 2nd screen being used as a map as a waste (I really don't wanna look away from the screen just to look at a map) but find it extremely useful for managing items.
I can definitely see that happening especially down the Wii U's life. It is up to the third parties. If they want to be lazy (which I can see) expect the tablet screen to be just an added menu I honestly hope the gameplay elements the tablet controller offer are not forced on games. An example of this is Killzone with the sixaxis turning the valve thing. That annoyed me
RTS games please. Or any strategy game for that matter
