you shouldn't say that because now all the butthurt capcom/dmc fanboys will click disagree. most people still haven't gotten over the fact they changed dante's look

this game doesn't look very good can't wait to play it

I can understand why some people don't like it but most of them haven't even played it.
I had my doubts but played it at Eurogamer Expo and thought it was great.
The combat was great and the environments look very cool.

Also people go on about the Devil May Cry series like it was hit after hit.
It wasn't. The first game was a masterpiece and one of the best games I've ever played.

The second game was rubbish and a complete fail.

The third game had a less appealing Dante in my opinion but gave us better combat and Virgil, still nowhere near as awesome as the original.

Then by the time the 4th game was released I was expecting a huge leap with a lot of fresh new ideas and it ended up being very dull.
I hated Neo, didn't see the point in playing as another Dante clone when I just wanted to play as Dante from DMC1 and when you finally do get to play him you have to play the entire game all over again it was so boring.

So yeah while I don't particularly like the new Dante's look at least they are trying to mix things up a bit and to be honest I don't feel like I've played as the real Dante since DMC1 so I've gotten used to it.

I wish the game had more castle environments like this video is showing us. Really gave a vibe of the older.

Talk about serious downgrade. Combat still slow and there's a significant pause after every hit, that is an ugly interface, guns still sounds like pellet guns, pulling air combos requires no effort at all, they just float in the air rather than you keeping them up. I recently played dmc 3 and still can't believe how much more superior it is compared to this.

Graphics are still fuckin awful. Frame rate still lags like hell. Still unoriginal and boring. Not even renting this unless you do something drastic capcom.

agree and they need to fix the broken combat in this one compared to DMC 4 DmC's combat is a mess

This looks like the first interesting DMC to me, the others always looked like low budget affairs but this is stunning, I will defo turn off the dreadful music though, have fun downvoters ;)

Music is eh, sounds kind of slow compared to how Devil May Cry has it, and then that guy starts screaming in the song makes it more eh, combat just looks to easy, its seems to be more about being flashy and just making people feel good about themselves whether they may or may not be able to play games like these very well, the Stylish Rank fills up too quick for the player doing almost nothing to only 1 enemy (could be the difficulty) the story sounds like its going to be uninteresting and a generic action american action story (what they went for though) and Donte does seem like very interesting at all, his dialouge, voice, and look is eh, even though they did make him a little better than when they first showed him, but thats like taking a turd and coloring it, then making a polished statue out of it, still a turd just easier to look at. Game looks like it would of had so much potential as a new IP, but I won't be getting it, Capcom has done close to nothing to make fans happy, or just make anything for fans of their games at all this generation (at least after the first year or 2), but I guess you cant really blame them completely when all the people who basically made the games and made the company what it is left (except for Ono, which is the only reasong Street Fighter is one of the only Capcom series that hasnt been ruined yet.)
