Football Manager 2013 review | Select Start Media

"At the end of the day, Football Manager 2013 is so full of features that I guess the Classic mode really had to be included. Not only that, it acts as a perfect stepping stone to those gamers who’ve always been a bit daunted by the fully-featured game. I don’t feel good giving this a score at all, I’m doing it because I have to. I’m going to get hundreds and hundreds of hours out of this. I love Football Manager, and I don’t care what you think." - Select Start Media

Awesome article and insight. Love hearing developers praising each other. You can tell they want each other to succeed. That one dev that like The Last of Us more than Bioshock was funny. When he say TLoU was more believable...no sheit! Lol...
I wouldnt even had compared the two but his breakdown why was good and made sense. Awesome read(to me anyway)! Thanks!

gta V was most chosen followed by tlou.

Gta as good as it is doesn't bring anything new to the table, yes you will allways have something to do an yes you can lay as three character, but apart from that the story was OK, and many of the things you can do in this game can be done in previous games.

TLOU is a game in my opinion that deserves it this year. the story was amazing, gameplay was great, you actually cared for the characters and i was really surprised about how well they showed the bonding between Ellie and Joel. they started out as to people just doing a mission, but ended becoming so close to each other.

This game is probably my favorite game this gen along side MGS4,uncharted 2,dead space 1-2, darksiders 1, walking dead, mw1 and gta 5 ( gta 5 is a great game, one of the best games this gen hands down, but last of us edges it out in my opinion).

Piracy by Numbers (Invision Game Community)

SEGA and Sports Interactive launched Football Manager 2103. This not only went on to become the biggest-selling game in the history of the long-running series, it also remained ‘uncracked’ until May 12th 2013. This means that for more than six months, there was no unprotected version of the game available for illegal download.

imagine how many will DL gtav if it goes to pc (if they even feel its worth it). the first Week sales of BO2 was 6-7mill on 360, 5-6mill on PS3, and 0.425mill on PC... sad if you ask me.

gamernova3814d ago

First, you can't compare PC with console sales. Consoles are cheaper to buy therefore there are simply more consoles than there are gaming PCs. Furthermore, PC gamers are smart so are less likely to buy cod lol jk kinda. But yes, piracy does exist but this mass piracy from fb manager is rare and not representative of PC gamer behavior as a whole. If piracy was thatbad in general, no one would make games for the PC and nothing is further from the truth.
