What a boot Ummerica eh? I live in South Central Texas, and we've been neglected. Sure Austin has a butt load of 'em on display, but San Antonio had 1 on display last I checked, and it's one of the most heavily populated cities in the US. Oh well, guess I have to make a drive up 35 and check one out before launch. Glad our friends way up north are getting to check 'em out too. It's too damn cold in Canada to not have electronic devices to keep you guys and gals warm at night.
I think I'm gonna end up in the same boat. Like my above post says, San Antonio only has 1 Wii U demo station, and it's on the South Side. I live in a city between Austin/San Antonio, so either way I head, it's gonna be a drive. Six days left, and I want to at least try it out before picking it up... don't know if trying it will make me more or less excited. Maybe going in a complete virgin is the best way to do it.
We have one set up here at our local Wal Mart in Charlottetown PEI. I dont know if it was because it was a weekday night but there was definitely no line up of people wanting to try it out. The controller with the touch screen is bigger than I thought it would be though. Had a few preoaded videos of Batman Arkham city, Zombie U, Darksider 2 and a few others games. Couldn't really figure out how to get the demo game loaded :S Not be because the machine was complicated to figure out or anything.
Yeah most of our stores in Winnipeg got them set up as well. The demo you can play on ours is Rayman. Gotta give it to Ubisoft, they've got 8-9 titles coming out in a short period so, they know how to capitalize on the consumers.
