Assassin’s Creed III is so close. So close to being Game of the Year material, and so close to being what anyone who loved Assassin’s Creed II knows the series is capable of. So much of it works, but more of it is broken than it should be. In many ways, it’s the best of the series, but it lacks the polish that helped chisel its predecessor into my mind. 8/10
The amount of stuff to do in this game is enormous and fun. My only problem with some of the stuff is it feels like they were just chucked in there.
Example : The mission where you need to discover the 'Mystery of the Sasquach' - it felt rushed and waaay to short and well pretty stupid conclusion.
I prefer the settings of AC3 compared to Italy, then again maybe I was just getting bored looking at the same art style for 3 games.
Graphically - The 360 version of this game is EASILY the best looking game on consoles.
Besides a few disappointments and animation/control hiccups, I am really enjoying this game.
A little more attention to the side missions would of been nice. Make them a bit longer - like my example above.
Overall 9/10
