Dishonored devs wanted to prove games could take creative risks

Harvey Smith, co-creative director of Dishonored, stated that one of the purposes of the game was to prove that Dishonored could be “interesting” and take creative risks within the commercial sphere. (Bethesda Softworks, Dishonored, Harvey Smith, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
