PSN update: [email protected] bumped up to version 1.31

It's not just the PlayStation Store that's bringing in updates, it seems. QJ.net letting you guys know that Sony Computer Entertainment has updated the [email protected] service to version 1.31.

When communication with Stanford University's servers is unsuccessful, the application will now try an effective method of attempting to reconnect based on the specific error condition.

The story is too old to be commented.

Just when I am gone for the weekend, an update rolls around to make things better. Ah well, it's not like my PS3 is off and not doing things.

I wonder what the uptime on my PS3 is by now...

well do you have a PSP? I think you can update via the PSP

Good, I've been getting screwed over for work units a lot.

okay not to sound like a dumbass but how do you use it? i signed up to it as soon as I got my 60gb last year to help cancer (right?) but I haven't been on it like in a month don't know whats going on.

heyheyhey3258d ago

you just open it from the XMB and off you go- it seriously couldn't be simpler

i feel guilty because i regularly forget to keep the PS3 running with folding, i have only completed 1 work unit which is poor

keep it on people and we might find a cure for cancer sooner than we thought

"i feel guilty because i regularly forget to keep the PS3 running with folding"

You can set [email protected] to come on as the PS3's screensaver.

We'll cure cancer, but the global warming from the power consumption will kill us all. I say keep it off for everyone's benefit :)

Ahh, you gotta love the PS3.

Come home, and help cure cancer while I eat.
Grab the controller play some games alone, or with friends for free online.
Watch a good Hi-def Blu-ray movie with my girl.

Machine that does it all. Gotta love it.
