MWEB GameZone Review: The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, it’s (not) simplicity itself!

With Testament, the creators of the Sherlock Holmes adventure game series, Frogwares, have taken Holmes and Watson down a dark path of betrayal, disillusionment and death. The game opens with a seemingly straight forward theft, but near the game’s end, we find Watson alone and Holmes dead by his own hand; leaving behind a trail of murders and unexplained crimes.

The story is too old to be commented.

when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth

You so helpful with that :p

Sherlock Holmes doesn't do what Sherlock Holmes does because of Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes does what Sherlock Holmes does because Sherlock Holmes IS Sherlock Holmes.

Great review, Han. I love whodunnit and adventure games and this game certainly looks really decent.

"Excellent!" I cried.
"Elementary," said he.

HanCilliers1417d ago

Sherlock Holmes never said "Elementary, my dear Watson"

The actual quotation is as follows:

"I have the advantage of knowing your habits, my dear Watson," said he. "When your round is a short one you walk, and when it is a long one you use a hansom. As I perceive that your boots, although used, are by no means dirty, I cannot doubt that you are at present busy enough to justify the hansom."

"Excellent!" I cried.
"Elementary," said he.

"It is one of those instances where the reasoner can produce an effect which seems remarkable to his neighbour, because the latter has missed the one little point which is the basis of the deduction.
