GameTap: God of War: Chains of Olympus Preview

Dana Jongewaard of GameTap writes: In theory, we think handheld games should be designed to complement their portability rather than being just tiny versions of games on full-sized gaming systems. But it's hard to get irritated by the fact that God of War: Chains of Olympus is a miniaturized version of its console counterparts, mostly because it plays so seamlessly.

While often controls suffer when a franchise has shifted from the PS2 to the PSP, God of War has always had an automatic camera system, so you don't feel the lack of a right analog control on the PSP, and graphics are crisp and run smoothly. Yes, this may be God of War on a handheld, but Chains of Olympus deserves to be counted as the full-fledged third entry in the series. Here are some more of the familiar hallmarks that you can expect to find.
