Rare Atari game found in storage sells for over $33,000

In the end, things worked out pretty good for Harv Bennett, the Pomona, CA man who recently unearthed a copy of the incredibly rare Atari 2600 game Air Raid. (Culture, Retro)

good for them
its funny, i have a good friend who has a 2600 their mother got at a yard sale for $2.00. the games are as mint as you could possibly imagine. combat, space invaders, Asteroids and some other one.

Granted they arent worth as much as Air Raider but the fact that these games are perfect in every way astounds me. Not even a crease in the cardboard showing them having ever been opened.

I opened combat and sure enough, everything was inside. Even the old 70's registration card was with the 2600 unit itself. I told my friend that if the thought ever came up, I will take it off her hands.
