Star Wars: The Old Republic Goes Free-To-Play On November 15th

DSOGaming writes: "Electronic Arts announced today that the global launch date of the Star Wars: The Old Republic Free-to-Play option will be November 15, 2012." (PC, Star Wars:The Old Republic)

Not that I know of. You may need to buy the client, but there are a ton of sites that sell it cheaper, about $15.00.
