Does Not Liking Halo 4 Make You a Terrorist? Examination of Publisher Advocacy

People like Halo. It’s already a foregone conclusion that Halo 4 would sell a trillion copies regardless of the critical consensus. If the word “Halo” is present in the title the game could be a feline dating sim and still a billion people would buy it.

PureSophistry examines how Reviewers are created a consensus and what that means for you! (343 Industries, Culture, Halo, Halo 4, Industry, Tech, Xbox 360)

it's a no win situation , games like SOCOM and Killzone got trolled for changing things a bit , and Halo4 and Uncharted3 get trolled for giving more of what is expected.

Of course SOCOM was expected to go back to its roots. The first SOCOM game on ps3 was generally disliked. Gamers wanted THE socom experience to come to ps3, and it didn't. The developers were too dense to realize that.

Killzone 3 was gotten on for far more meager reasons, but people had their reasons for not liking some of the changes.

Uncharted 3 scored a few points less than 2. Cry me a river.

Halo 4 rated well, but a substantial amount less than predecessors because the formula has managed to be made stale but also lose track of some of the best parts of its roots a bit. But the REAL whining was over one 5.5 review. ONE review.

No no no, you got it all wrong. When you don't like something, those that do become YOUR terrorists...

Uhhh....it could go either way. No need to over analyze or over-philospohize it.
