GamesRadar - 343 Industries' Halo 4 is one of the biggest disappointments in gaming this year. We liked it quite a bit, giving it 4.5/5 stars in our Halo 4 review, but that's just our opinion. Hundreds took to Metacritic mere hours after the game was released to express their views on the game, and they were much different than ours.
It is funny reading them write "Does the game deserve a 0/10 - No." or "If you like any of the previous Halo games, you are sure to enjoy this one."
Every game on Metacritic has a bunch of wanton 0s and 10s. Cry me a river.
Unless that's what you were getting at, in which case ignore this post.
ive played every halo game(many times) and this is by far the best halo (by miles) it felt like bungie got bored after halo 1.
343i have made a game way beyond anything bungie ever made.
Just finished coop legendary with a friend
Vest halo Eva by far
And I have also played every halo game many times
Personally I've not played Halo 4 but from the many, many positive reviews, I gathered this:
Is it so buggy that it's unplayable? No
Is it broke? No
Did the majority of people that played it seem to enjoy it? Yes.
When reviewing a game, I believe you're suppose to tell the reader if the games works well, are the controls fluid, does it look nice? Re-playability? Bugs? Multilayer good? Not "well it didn't meet my expectations, 0/10'. That's ridiculous.
I think a problem as well is that some people get too caught up into the hype, mainly young kids that are expecting 'THE BEST THING EVAH!'. The when they finally play it and doesn't match up to the excitement they had when waiting for it, they get disappointing. But they react like it's a personal insult. It's a sad state of affairs.
