Valve treats the gaming community much better in my opinion..EA just wants to please their share holders at all cost....

That is the difference right there. Valve is a business, just like EA, but they know how to treat their customers and actually listen to them.

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe Valve has any shareholders to keep happy. That to me would be the biggest reason why they do business differently.

This is a B.S. article. Comparing these two is like apples to oranges. Valve is mainly a developer and small-time publisher, while EA is a huge entertainment publisher and distributer. Of course they will have different buisness practices.

I don't think the author knows that hard copies of Valve games are distributed by EA either.
