How the video games industry is faring

Companies in the video games industry have begun releasing their earnings reports for the latest quarter. Here’s a look at selected companies that make or sell video games or machines.

if you look the stocks from EA, you will see that it has fallen over 75% since November 2007

So, the point before the market crash where the markets were seeing historical highs to a few years after the crash when the economic situation is still a struggle, the stock is down? Get out of town. Stocks never go down while a company is in the middle of a restructuring during the worst economic conditions in a generation.

Next thing you know you're going to try to tell me that Microsoft's stock is down from it's highs during the tech bubble in 2000. OMG! It is? By 50%? They must be running that company into the ground. The market price is always accurate because investors are always completely rational, and as such you can count on the public's ever changing view of a company via market capitalization figures to be a fair and balanced assessment of a company's performance over time.

dude the stocks from EA is down more than 40% just by late 2011. You can just see the quality of their games that their fucked no matter what.

gamers doesn't rely on graphics. they rely on the gameplay, and story (in case it's an rpg). i can see so many games with astonishing graphics yet, suikoden 2 > than these games
