Impulse Gamer: As the war between the Assassins and the Templars escalates, Ubisoft Montreal takes the Assassin Creed franchise to a whole new level in their latest game, ASSASSIN'S CREED 3. The game begins on the 31st of October 2012 which happens to be the official release date of the game as players are treated to a powerful cinema that once again involves protagonist Desmond Miles and his cohorts. 9/10
The bow & arrow isn't a musket, Ubisoft! It shouldn't be treated that way. It's lazy programming. When it came to hunting. Ubisoft was more concerned with setting traps and tomahawk kills and repetitive timed events. While Red Dead Redemption didn't have a bow & arrow. The free aim with guns made hunting an amazingly fun and satisfying experience. One that required the player to have actual skill.
I know I'm going on about this, but I'm a fan of bow & arrow weapons in games and one of the things I was looking forward to in ACIII was the bow & arrow. Hopefully it's just Ubisoft and other developers don't follow this shitty example of how to do a bow & arrow in game. At least the new Tomb Raider has free aim control for the bow & arrow. From what I've seen anyway.
