Two long-concealed projects that need to see daylight.
Good article! I'll just post over what I put in one of my recent comments regarding these games, because people keep saying it's vapourware or will not be coming out on PS3: "The Last Guardian - they've spent around 5 or more years on production already, which includes PS3 cell-specific coding and additional development. They've drafted in top studio Santa Monica for technical support and Yoshida constantly acknowledges that the problem to get past is a technical one. It is definitely in production and they won't nor can't cancel it - not after the money they've already sinked into it. Versus XIII - the only ones suggesting that it's vapourware are those who simply haven't been following its development. We've seen and heard enough to suggest it's progressing, the biggest problem being that it's just not in a ready enough state to show more than they have already. They simply announced it too many years in advance, when they hadn't truly committed to development because of main entry XIII and its sequel. The game will be magnificent in scope for a FF game and its story and characters will be worth something unlike XIII. even if i have to wait until 2014, i believe it will be worth it."
