PlayStation Plus 'Instant Game Collection' Shifts to One Game a Week

From AnalogHype.com: "If you've taken a look at this week's PlayStation Plus update, you'll notice something abnormal, two games are coming out of the Instant Game Collection next week. Normally only one would be removed followed by a replacement in that same week, that's changing, but only for next week. " (PS Vita, PS3, Tag Invalid)

This is not a bad idea at all. New game being replaced in/ out per week keeps things moving.

Yeah, it makes more sense to do it this way. They did ask whether people wanted the three free games a month up front, but obviously and thankfully most people wanted them to be meted out.

I'm not sure that the interpretation of 'one a week' equals potentially 4 a month though. It could be right, but I'm more inclined to see this as better spacing with one week of nothing towards the end of the month. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

No real loss to Plus members either. Once a game becomes available and you "purchase" it, you can download it anytime you want as long as you're still a Plus member. Only new Plus members miss out on what games were in the Instant Game collection.
