I think this game is pretty much set in stone as one of those titles that is easy to pass on judging by the reviews so far. I don't expect much change from the scores we are currently getting. It should hit around the 5-8 mark.
A bit of personal preference for the right person and this game will be a decent little title for them, but I think it is a title that many will be able to pass on or just lose interest in.
These are just my predictions and I won't ever try the game to see if I like it or not because there are simply too many other games that I AM interested in.
It's obvious that if you intend to beat Mario Kart then you have to come with something special. Then again, even Mario Kart is a bit off this generation for me...
Anyway I digress so I'm just going to stop typing now incase some fanboys get sensitive over my opinion :<
Modnation Racers over this version that just put some LBP theme over MNR and took out the competitive, good parts of MNR as a karting game.
Meh Sony, just trying to sell on an IP's name and character. Sad. There are LBP sackboys and karts in MNR, better way to race with sackboy than this!!!
It's also worth noting that the only games that IGN have scored low are what was considered console sellers, both for the Vita and the PS3. If anyone challenges that potential bias, all they have to do is pull up a score for a game that wasn't ever going to be a console seller. I'm very suspicious, but I refuse to assume it's anything but coincidental at the moment.

With them having an app on 360 I think that IGN will give out lower scores to all PS3 games no matter what!
