Fable: The Journey Review - Best Kinect game yet, still not very good | Globe and Mail

Globe and Mail: "There is good news about Fable: The Journey – it may very well be the best Kinect game yet. The bad news is, it’s still a Kinect game." (Fable: The Journey, Xbox 360) 5/10

"We've only scratched the surface...Kinect is going to be something that everyone's going to want to own" Matt Barlow, Microsoft PR from an interview published today.

There's no doubt Microsoft hit a home run with Kinect, but I will never understand how. It seems every Kinect related game that comes out is savaged by the critics with the exception of dance games and Sesame Street games, yet Microsoft still insists that Kinect is the future. But then I guess I'm not supposed to understand. Clearly, I'm not the demographic Kinect has in mind.

Still, Kinectimals: Now with Bears! has got to be one of my all time favourite game titles. I think they should have tacked "Now with Bears!" onto Assassin's Creed 3.
