You should have played… Killing Floor

CalmDownTom says, "Welcome back PC Gaming, I missed you! This was what I said to myself as I shot my 800th zombie in the head in the dumb-but-fun survival shooter Killing Floor." (Killing Floor, Killing Floor GOLD Edition, PC)

That's the nice thing about PC gaming: you have a wide variety of games in a genre (in this case, FPSs) and NOT everyone is trying to be the next CoD. If you like shooters, there are a ton of options from wide-open shooters like STALKER, ARMA, Planetside 2, etc, or you have more story-driven shooters like Metro 2033, Half Life, etc.

And of course....mods.

Metro 2033 is an amazing game :)

This game is by far the best type of 'horde' game. People like Cod's zombies, they gotta try this. Better maps, better gameplay, much better enemy variety, and a boss. A boss who goes invisible, shoots rockets, has a chain gun and kicks the **** out of you
