More Halo live-action series ideas following Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn's success

XMNR: It's hard to argue that the Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn is anything other than a success following its conclusion on Friday. The live-action web-series from 343 Industries and Microsoft garnered millions of views on Machinima Prime and who knows how many more on Halo Waypoint. While this obviously helps build the hype for a movie based on the Xbox franchise, there is so much more going on in the Halo universe that could be explored either in TV or webseries. We take a look at three completely not serious "elevator pitch" possibilities.

Last time they tried making a Halo movie Halo wasn't as popular, and they messed up pretty bad...but now....is the perfect time to utilize the Halo seriese and make a good movie...but it can't be a rehash of the story we already know, it should be about someone else other than the chief

I think it should be the same story we already know. The problem with video game based movies is that Hollywood doesnt go with the story we all love. Look at Resident Evil. They should have stuck with the original games story (minus the voice acting).

I mean when they make movies based off novels (like LOTR) do they completely change the story? No, they follow the source material. If video game based movies are ever going to be successful, they need to give us what we expect. Not just tag the name Halo on some movie that has nothing to do with the games.

I really enjoyed this web-series, it really surprised me. They should definitely consider putting Halo on the big screen, there's a crapload of money just waiting to be made.

Im going to have to rent this game to play the campain.. I dont have gold & dont even like shooters but the reviews say its amazing & i beat all the others so i must see what theyve done here.. Nx gen must have some truly spectacular offerings incoming

I mean the writing, acting, directing, special effects, were all great. I'm a Halo fan, not a big fan where I play every day and have every game. But I like the series. Forward Unto Dawn was great.

My Opinion:

1)Drama Television show dealing with the Spartan Program. The first season should deal with Spartans vs the Insurrectionist. The last episode of the first season should cliff hang into the discovery of the Covenant

2)3 movie deal telling the story of the UNSC/Covenant war also tying in with the Spartans

3)Make money

Sorry, but KMCROC is right. It's been almost four years since Battlestar Galactica ended its run on SyFy and the channel has really pushed nothing but crap since.

Defiance sounds interesting but I don't hold any confidence in anything put out by SyFy these days.
