Going Through the Motions: PlayStation Move

Ryan Johnson | GoozerNation

In Part 3 of Going Through the Motions, Ryan looks at PlayStation's Move controller through the eyes of a new gamer, one who may be inexperienced at what we are used to and completely new to the situation, to help gamers decide which direction to go for potential gifts for Christmas or general suggestions if they are thinking of joining the hobby. Coming Soon: Nintendo's Wii and Wii U. For now, click in to read how a "noob" sees Move. (Playstation Move, PS3, Tech)

The one thing I'm really surprised that Sony haven't done yet is add the PSEye in with every PS3. It would make for a better 'value' proposition. With Singstar only needing the PSEye now, Video conferencing and multiplayer communication, it would still get used. This would also allow Sony to offer older 'Kinect' type experiences for PS+ users and make it much cheaper to play MOVE games because all they'd need was 1 MOVE controller. What's more, they could re-release PS2 Eyetoy games and offer them for a reasonable price on PSN.

"newer models of the system only sport two USB ports, both in the front. This means half of your controller-charging ports are taken up with the camera, and it's a permanent cord coming around to the front of your system, a bit ugly if you're the kind who likes a nice, clean setup."

THIS, I was hooking up my system to play some HOTD Overkill and hated the fact my slim has no USB port in the back as my TV setup has my camera at the top of the tv and my PS3 at the very bottom of my entertainment center. The cord would be perfect if said PS3 had a port in the back. Plus look better. Only other grip is the "glowy wand" reflecting in my TV screen.

Not the end of the world, but just saying. Great game though!
