Medal of Honor: Warfighter Review | HAL

Ross Hartley: "It's hard to believe that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is approaching its fifth year anniversary pretty soon. Over the past five years, we have seen a lot of military-themed first-person shooters and it's safe to say, it's now a dying genre, at least from a sheer popularity standpoint. Even the developers behind the Call of Duty games know this and as a result, Black Ops II has a near-future slant to its overall setting. Unfortunately, Medal of Honor: Warfighter from EA and Danger Close really doesn't revive the genre in any great way. It's a perfectly good first-person shooter with a fun campaign and plenty of multiplayer content, but unless you really want to play another one of these types of games, then you ought to think twice before picking up Medal of Honor: Warfighter." (Medal of Honor: Warfighter, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 3/5
