Medal of Honor Warfighter | GamingAngels Review

GA writes: I remember when Medal of Honor was a solid title back in the PlayStation 2 days, and it’s really disheartening to see the franchise produce such a jumbled mess of a game. (Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Xbox 360) -

Could really do with a score instead of just a PASS/FAIL

The singleplayer is a mess, there's no doubt about it, I played up to the Sarajevo mission last night and it's a horrible game, on the flipside I spent about 5 hours on the MP yesterday and I really like it. And what's with the creepy little girl, she looks like a cross between Gollum and Prince Charles, top tip for character designers, you can't put any sort of facial detail in a depiction of a child. It's the same with drawing and painting, if you try to model facial features on a portrait of a child it looks wrong, they end up looking like old midgets. What's worse is that I can't get Battlelog to work, again, I couldn't connect mine to BF3 either.

What kind of problems are you having with the SP? I'm about halfway through it, and I think it's pretty decent. I mean, it's nothing to write home about, but I like the firefights. MP is so much fun. It's competitive and tactical. I love the weapon customization and different classes.

I just don't like it, there's no flow to the story, it has some decent characters, like Voodoo and Mother but the set pieces can be aggravating, one minute you're clearing objectives and getting the adrenalin up and the next you're stuck, or the objective isn't explained properly...I repeatedly failed that sea captain rescue because the guy you're supposed to shoot stays in cover until the last second and I assumed he was the hostage.
There are some stellar parts though, the Manila mission is stunning, but as the reviewers point out you get all revved up thinking the game is taking it up a notch then something aggravating or incomprehensible occurs and the spell is broken. As for the MP I totally agree, I've been playing the point man class mostly, it's not like COD in the sense that you can expect to go through the motions and expect to rank up quickly, if you don't do the fireteam stuff in MOH and complete objectives you get sod all XP for your trouble.
