Top 8 Overlooked PSP Games

With the lifespan of the PSP slowly winding down, Bago Games takes a look at the best overlooked games for the handheld. Many readers will be glad to know that most of these games are available for download via the PSN and can be played on the Vita. (corpse party, Gitaroo Man Lives!, Jeanne d'Arc, Lunar: Silver Star Harmony, PSP, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Valkyria Chronicles 2, Ys: The Oath in Felghana)

Damn, the PSP was a JRPG beast!

Yep. JRPGs went the handheld route, so the PSP and DS received the lions share of the genre. So far it looks like the same will happen with the 3DS and Vita.

It's sad that people NOT in the know think the JRPG is dying because they had no clue about where the genre found its home this gen.

Knowing where the majority of games from my favorite genre is is the primary reason why I need (another) DS and PSP.

The PSP is great, its full of hidden gems. Tekken Ressurection is still the best fighting game I've ever played on a handheld

Corpse party for sure. Finally pulled the trigger on it when it went on sale. If you like horror games, cant recommend it enough

Got Corpse Party on sale just like you and just started playing it. Only 10 minutes into the game and already found myself disturbed and in awe of this game. THIS is a horror game.

Oh and by the way if anyone plays Corpse Party make sure to wear headphones. Trust me it makes the experience that much better.

I suggest Growlanser Wayfarer of Time from ATLUS, a great JSRPG with over 40 endings variations, cool non grid battle system.

You guys know ATLUS made Gold for the psp so this one is no exception..
peace walker = in my opinion, best handheld game ever made

This list could probably be opened to half the PSP line up.

Jeanne d'Arc is a must for anyone who likes tactical rpg's, it's amazing.

Tactics Ogre on PSP is quite possibly one of the best games ever regardless of platform.
